Committee and statutes
The Securities Regulation Fund was created by the decree-law of 18 May 1945, which constitutes its Articles of Association.
They determine the Fund's tasks, its operation, its working resources and the aspects relating to its annuals accounts (publication, control and distribution of the result).
The Fund is administered by a Committee of six members appointed by the King: three members presented by the National Bank of Belgium; the other three members proposed by the Belgian Minister of Finance and chosen among the senior officials of the Treasury Administration of the Ministry of Finance, including the Administrator-General of the Treasury, who acts as chairman, and the senior official responsible for Public Debt Service of the Treasury Administration.
